Aiden

I thought now would be a good time to give a little update on our favorite 3 year old.

-He is wild and crazy and loving and affectionate at the same time. He’s always full of fire and into mischief. We recently decided that he will be the child who always tests us and pushes us to our limits. Which means there will be a lot of good times are in our future!

-He continues to be obsessed with garbage trucks and garbage cans. We talk about them several times a day. Last night I laid in bed with him and we talked about them for 30 minutes. He loves to hear the whole process of picking up the trash, where it goes, what happens when it gets to the landfill, etc. He’s big on recycling and will correct you if you put cardboard in the trash can by accident. He loves referring to our garbage men by name and is quick to remind me that “we don’t know the name of the garbage man who picks up the brown can, but we need to talk to him soon to find out.” His favorite garbage man, Mario, has been on vacation for 2 weeks and Aiden keeps talking about how he’s on vacation far away (he went to visit family in Mexico). Mario gave Aiden a good bye hug 2 weeks ago and told him that he’ll be gone for a few weeks on vacation. He’s the sweetest garbage man ever!

-Aiden recently tried sushi (he calls it shushi) and loved it. He had a roll with crab and shrimp in it. I hope he continues to be a good eater.

-He’s your typical inquisitive 3 year old. He’s always asking “why” and “how” about anything and everything. Today, for example, he wanted to know why the telephone repair man had his van parked in front of someone’s house and wanted me to explain to him how he fixes the phone.

-He loves marshmallows and popcorn.

-He would run around naked 24/7 if we let him.
